Children's Baptism Class

We are thrilled that your child is interested in taking the next step of faith at FBCE! This form is the first step for children who have made a profession of faith and want to learn more about baptism and church membership.

Completing this registration does not automatically enroll your child in the class—it simply notifies Pastor Derek of their interest. Once submitted, Pastor Derek will contact you with further details. The class will be scheduled once several children have expressed interest.

Here’s what the process looks like:

1. Registration
2. Meeting with Pastor Derek – A time for your child (and parents) to talk through their faith and next steps.
3. Application – Your child should fill out the form in their own words. Parents just need to complete the final section.
4. Child Membership/Baptism Class – Typically scheduled when a small group of children are ready.
5. Membership Application – Your child will complete this as part of the process.
6. Deacon Interview – Your child will need to share their salvation testimony and explain why they want to be baptized.
7. Baptism (if needed) & Church Vote – The final step in becoming a member!
